Hello my VIP Members (and others).   I made this short quick video to discuss the VIP “Confidence Ritual” Lesson.  You get this lesson 2-3 months after joining the VIP program.

Recently, in my own life, I realized how important this lesson is.  If you are a VIP Member, be sure to be serious about this lesson when you get it.  Enjoy!

Just analyzed the top markets for Effortless English for 2009.  The results:

1.  Immigrants in USA, Canada, UK, and Australia
2.  Brazil
3.  Japan & Korea
4.  Italy & France

As an “honorable mention”, I also noticed that Turkey is growing quickly as more and more Turks join Effortless English.

As I’ve mentioned before, the above countries get first priority for my visits and my Workshops and Seminars  (Thailand is not on the list, but you get a special pass because I enjoy being here so much!!!  ;)

I’ll be visiting Japan and Korea this year.

So, looking at the list,..  I think that Brazil really needs to be the next country I strongly consider visiting.  I can’t speak any Portuguese and will need Hosts and Sponsors…  but after I get back to SF in May, I’ll begin planning a visit to Brazil and looking for hosts and sponsors  (possible a visit near the last part of 2010)   :)

And that, at the moment, completes my travel plans for 2010!

Happy New Year!!

(If you want me to visit your country, encourage more people who live there to become members!!!  ;)

Happy 2010–  I look forward to meeting more of you in person!!

It’s 2010– a new year!

I think it’s a very good practice to begin the new year with gratitude, remembering all the good things in our lives.

I have many many people and things to be grateful for.

However, since this is a blog and website dedicated to teaching English, here I will focus on my gratitude for the teachers who have helped me become a better English teacher.

I have learned from many great teachers, directly and indirectly, including:   Stephen Krashen, Brenda Murphy, Ashley Hastings, J. Marvin Brown, Tony Robbins, Brendon Burchard, John Gray…..

…but the very best teacher I know is Blaine Ray.   More than any other teacher, Blaine showed me how to be a great English teacher.  He is a true master.   And in addition to being a tremendous teacher (in terms of his ability and technique)- he is an extremely warm and generous person.

Quite often, teachers write to me requesting Teacher Training materials, but I always refer them to Blaine’s site.

I am grateful for all I have learned from him (through his books and conferences)……  and hope one day to match his skill and style as a teacher.

For more info about Blaine Ray’s teacher training materials, see his website at:  http://blaineraytprs.com
