Just analyzed the top markets for Effortless English for 2009. The results:
1. Immigrants in USA, Canada, UK, and Australia
2. Brazil
3. Japan & Korea
4. Italy & France
As an “honorable mention”, I also noticed that Turkey is growing quickly as more and more Turks join Effortless English.
As I’ve mentioned before, the above countries get first priority for my visits and my Workshops and Seminars (Thailand is not on the list, but you get a special pass because I enjoy being here so much!!!
I’ll be visiting Japan and Korea this year.
So, looking at the list,.. I think that Brazil really needs to be the next country I strongly consider visiting. I can’t speak any Portuguese and will need Hosts and Sponsors… but after I get back to SF in May, I’ll begin planning a visit to Brazil and looking for hosts and sponsors (possible a visit near the last part of 2010)
And that, at the moment, completes my travel plans for 2010!
Happy New Year!!
(If you want me to visit your country, encourage more people who live there to become members!!!
Happy 2010– I look forward to meeting more of you in person!!

Hello Mr. Hoge!
I’ve been learning English over 10 years. I’ve always been improve my vocabulary knowledge and speaking ability.
Everybody who knows English around me say that i have a great vocabulary knowledge. Because translating short stories or brochures or something English to Turkish, or Turkish to English is my hobby. But i couldn’t improve my speaking. I can easily understand but i cant respond.
Last week, one of my relative who lives in Canada has come to visit us. We’re about at the same age.(im 16 and he’s 17)But he hasn’t been in Turkey before so he doesnt know anything about Turkish. So my dad wanted me to take him and go to Sultanahmed. ( I live in Turkey,İstanbul
) I took him, we travelled. But we couldnt chat. Cause i wasnt able to speak frequently.
I decided to destroy this speaking problem! So i found you.
PS: i can easily understand what you say. But this time, i wont give up listening. Im listening over and over again.
Cause i said English is my hobby and ur listening lessons are funnier!
I hope your course will help me. wait.. i am sure about that.
Oh, one more thing!
Whenever you want to speak Turkish frequently, i can help you everytime
All my love
G. Yürük
